May10, 2010: "An American Dream Medley" - Hot Posse (Patrick Cowley, 1981. Imagine the TV program Wild Wild West done to a disco beat. Better yet, imagine sending James West forward in time about a 100 years to dance shirtless in a gay disco. Maybe Dr. Miguelito Loveless built a time machine? |

2, 2010: "You + Me = Love" by Undisputed Truth, 1976. HUGE club dance hit.
Out of release, so you won't find this one on iTunes or Amazon, only on
second hand vinyl or maybe an old CD on ebay. If you think this track is
long, I have the 12-inch version which is 11 minutes and 16 seconds long.
Roll the furniture out of the way kids, because this one's gonna make you
want to move! |

4, 2010: "Ease On Down The Road" by Consumer Rapport, 1975. HUGE club dance
hit. Club goers used to dance line dances to this. Difficult to find even
when it was first released, now long out of print and next to impossible
to find. Let's all join Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly
Lion on a trip down the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to see if
we can get the Wizard of Oz to grant our requests. |

13, 2010: A Valentine's Day special greeting to everybody. This is the I
Love Lucy Theme done up as disco in "Disco Lucy" by Wilton Place Steet Band,
1976. Can't you just see Fred and Ethel Mertz getting down to this? Or maybe
Ricky and Fred? |
February 21, 2010: Gustavo Santaolalla - The Wings (Brokeback Mountain Theme) - [Finbarr Massi Mix] Remix |
|
March 16, 2010: "I Got The Feeling" by Two Tons O' Fun, 1981. Patrick Cowley
produced this song for Sylveser's back up singers, Marsha Wash and Izora
Rhodes, who later became the Weather Girls. |
